Our next show, Brooklyn Bridge's 128th birthday!

So while basking in the success of the last "It's Alive" Old schooler graffiti show, we are getting ready for our next one. In late May, the Brooklyn Bridge wil turn 128 years old. Last year the tattoo shop did  $27 Brooklyn Bridge tattoos in honor of the 127th birthday. It was a huge fun success, and now with the gallery, we will be having an accompanying art show. Mixed media, with several different artists. Another limited edition tshirt., and tons of affordable prints and original art from local artists. We will keep you posted but here's some highlights from last year, and a huge piece Adam Suerte has been working on thats been revving us up.

40 oz show tonight

Adam Suerte is in a 40 oz show where about 100 people painted or sculpted their own 40 oz. With the likes of Dave Brockie from GWAR, Tara Mcphereson, Mitch O'connel, Suerte himself, and about 100 other great artists, this should be pretty nuts

Update- Here are some shots of the show

And CHINO covered it after the show

"Its Alive" show exceeded our expectations

So the show was amazing. The place was packed with Writers from past decades, the artists that inspired us when we were young green writers. Never in my life I thought I'd be staning in the same room with the likes of CASE2, NOC167, JAMESTOP, ZEPHYR, CHINO, and many more, as well as the guests of honor STAN153, DR.REVOLT, MARK BODE, and JEAN13 (who couldnt make it, unfortunately). Other crews represented TPA, 3YB, RTW,TATS CREW,OTB, and many, many more. Here are a couple pictures I took, Look out for more by the great Joe Russo, and if you are on Facebook, check out these links

There's a big, big chance you wouldn't have seen this picture back in the 70's when I was growing up in The Bronx. The Spades were a power and The Nomads were another. This image is the representation of our turf, of The Bronx.
