UFA® Artists and friends paint helmets for the Aidan Jack Seeger Foundation. Bid on yours now!

UFA® founders Jason Mitchell and Adam Suerte were invited worth a few other friends (Keo, Angry Eel, Sara Antoinette Martin and others)  and a bunch of other great artists to paint helmets currently being auctioned off to raise funds for the Aidan Jack Seeger Foundation. The Helmets are being shown at Harley Davidson NYC until 4/8, then will move to Indian Larry Motrocycles in Brooklyn from 4/9-4/16. The Auction is currently happening on Ebay, where a link to any helmet will get you to the rest. All proceeds are going to families living with ALD ( a deadly genetic disease that affects 1 in 17,000 people. As it is an X-linked genetic disease, it most severely affects boys and men, you can read more about it here) .. All helmets are on display at Harley Davidson NYC from 3/26-4/8 and then at Indian Larry Motorcycles in Bklyn from 4/9-4/16. Cey has teamed up some legends spanning generations for this awesome experiment. Each team up works on a canvas together and then each artist has a canvas to themselves. 15 Canvas' all 2' square. Opening july 2nd, and only up until July 22nd, a must see this summer!

Fountain Art Fair Recap

Jason Mitchell and Adam Suerte had a blast at the Fountain Art Fair repping Urban Folk Art® Studios. They showcased their work, as well as the work of UFA® Gallery regulars KEO XMEN, Dr. REVOLT, Mark Bode, TRIKE GND, and VEEFER. It wasn't an easy set up, they didn't have chairs the whole weekend, but they managed to network, sell some work, and entertain ,friends and fans, and meet some great fellow artists.

Fountain Art Fair 2014

Urban Folk Art® Gallery will have a booth at the renowned Fountain Art Fair this weekend. Mainly works by founders Adam Suerte and Jason Mitchell, It will also have work by UFA® pals and Graffiti legends Mark Bode, Keo Xmen, Dr. Revolt, Trike One, and Veefer. It opens Friday from 5pm – 11pm at the 69th regiment Armory at 68 Lexington ave (@ 24-25th street) and is open Sat from 12pm-7pm    and Sunday from 12-5pm. It’s a great way to see some great art. here’s the facebook page.
